A young persons view about the benefits of becoming a member of the Trust:

"I've always been interested in medicine and mental health, and since becoming a member of DHFT, I have been able to get involved and keep up to date with what is going on locally; including events, annual meetings, and the parents and carers group. It's great to see how DHFT are continually improving services throughout Dorset and also ending mental health discrimination with their Dorset Time to Change Campaign: This campaign is fantastic and many events are run to support it and spread awareness of mental health.

DHFT really listen to service users and carers, and as a young person who has been a service user, I can see how they are always striving to help people as best they can and have always welcomed my comments and suggestions. The membership is a great way to get involved, and for any other young persons out there, it is a super way to see just how much support is out there, and how to get your voice heard."
