Sad or worried

Everybody feels sad at times. If these sad feelings stay with you for a long time they feel like they take over your life. Sadness and worry can be about all sorts of things, at school or at home. These feelings can make us cross, stop us sleeping and nothing is fun anymore. The best way to stop feeling sad is to share your worries with parents or teachers or an adult you trust who can help you to think through the problems and work out answers.

Remember if the person you first speak to does not help or does not believe you then speak to someone else.
