Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD, or Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, can be difficult to distinguish between ordinary behavioural difficulties.

Its outward effects can be lack of concentration with or without fidgeting or nervousness, disruptiveness or impulsive outbursts.

It can be a difficult problem for parents or carers and even teachers at school. It is often misunderstood by members of the public as naughty behaviour.

If you have concerns about a young persons behaviour contact your GP for help and advice.
