Referrals to Children and Young People's Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service (CAMHS) in Bournemouth & Poole

Emotional Health and Well Being Services in Bournemouth & Poole provide assessment and treatment to children and young people aged up to 18 years (and their families) who are experiencing mild or emerging problems or who are suffering significant impairment due to mental illness, or emotional and behavioural difficulties which have not responded to interventions in primary care.

  • To make a referral please complete a referral form (see downloads below) and send it to the appropriate team below.
  • Where there is uncertainty about the appropriateness of a referral, team members are happy to offer telephone consultation and advice to referrers.

  • Specialist Teams will assess or refer the young person onto Crisis Intensive Home treatment Support Services or Pine Cottage
