Canford Cannons
Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust Football Team, The Canford Cannons is a team of 20 players and is a combined staff/service user team of all ages and abilities. The players meet on a weekly basis for practice at the Littledown Centre and play fortnightly in an 11-a-side league, which has been set up between Canford Cannons team and other social service organisations.

Tier 2 Early Intervention & Prevention Services
Tier 2 Early Intervention & Prevention Services - Primary Mental Health Workers offer both direct and indirect support to children/young people and their families who are experiencing a number of difficulties, including: the effects of divorce and seperation, social and/or family relationships, anger, sleeping difficulties, anxiety and bullying.
Tier 3 Specialist Multi agency CAMHS Team & Connections
CAMHS Professionals work with families and individual young people up to 18 years who have concerns of an emotional, behavioural or psychological nature. CAMHS offer a range of individual, family and group treatments depending upon the needs of the young person or family.
The Connections team work with the emotional and behavioural problems of looked after children. This is a holistic and needs–led service which aims to provide a fast track therapeutic service to any young person in need.

Maple Intensive Support Service for Young People
The Maple Service provides intensive home treatment to young people in crisis, age 10-18 years and their families/carers. Maple is a Tier 4 inter-agency provision working with Education and Social Care to manage crisis situations and progress a return to education and appropriate social activity. This could be because of emotional, behavioural and/or serious mental health issues.
Pine Cottage
Pine Cottage is a 4 bedded adolescent inpatient unit with additional day places, for young people aged between 12 and 18 years who are suffering from acute and severe mental health problems. Pine Cottage is a more homely atmosphere where we can assess and treat young people, and support their families/carers. Every care package designed is unique to an individual's needs and can include individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy, as well as education. Our people are friendly, professional and each one has different expertise. They're dedicated to ensuring young people return to their families/carers as quickly and smoothly as possible. Referrals are made through the Maple Service, with which we work very closely.
Dorset Parent Partnership Service
The Dorset Parent Partnership offers independent, impartial free information and support to parents/carers of children with special educational needs and/or disability, who may have concerns about their child's education. One to one support is available plus term-time weekly support group.
Mosaic
A Dorset Charity offering support to bereavd children, young people, parents and carers. Mosaic provide individual support and offer children and young people the opportunity to meet others and share their experiences.
