Confused and unhappy
Being a teenager is not easy. So many changes are taking place which can cause feelings of anxiety and confusion. Issues arising from school pressures, parents splitting up or the death of a friend or relative can contribute to confused and unhappy feelings. Life can be a struggle at times and it can be difficult to find ways of moving forward. If you’re feeling worried or upset and confused the best thing to do is talk to someone you trust, who will listen. A parent, relative, friend, school nurse or social worker. Talking about how you feel and being listened to can help you find a way through your feelings. Further help can be sought through your local GP service.
Remember if the person you first speak to does not help or does not believe you then speak to someone else.
