Monitoring your progress

When you attend your first appointment with CAMHS, you may be given some questionnaires by the person that you see. These help us to understand your difficulties. It maybe useful for you to think about what you want to acheive or to be different by coming to the service. There are a couple that we use quite often:

1. Goals

2. RCADS (Revised Childs Anxiety and Depression Scale)

3. ORS (Outcome Rating Scale)

Some clinicians may use these measures every session, which can help you monitor progress over time.

Then near the end of your therapy, we will give you a CHI-ESQ to ask your opinions about the service you received.  Your views are really important to us and will help us make changes to improve the care you receive.
