Volunteering

Get a buzz, develop your skills, do someone a favour

A volunteer is a member of the public who acts to assist Trust staff and / or patients in an unpaid capacity. The Trust welcomes volunteers and their contribution is an integral part of the services provided. Volunteers enhance the quality of life for service users and the Trust is keen for people from all sections of the local community to be involved in their work.

Are you over 16 and thinking about volunteering? Volunteering with the Trust can you help to do something positive for yourself, for our service users and for the wider community. Volunteering can help you to achieve your goals by giving you valuable life and work experience. Experience as a volunteer looks great on your CV and could help with your application for higher education or for a job.

If you are over the age of 16 and are interested in becoming a volunteer contact the Voluntary Services on 01202 443045, by email to Linda Morrish; linda.morrish@dhft.nhs.uk or by letter to Volunteer Services, Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust, 11 Shelley Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH1 4JQ.
